Blogparade: Zeigt her eure Plugins
Ja, auch ich möchte mal so eine tolle Blogparade starten und bin direkt gespannt auf die Reaktionen bzw. auf die Teilnahme.
Immer wieder finden sich in diversen Blogs Artikel über empfohlene WordPress-Plugins, welche man nach Aussagen der Autoren “unbedingt haben muss”. Dies ist ja alles gut und schön und auch gar nicht weiter falsch, aber was mich nun mal interessiert ist, welche Plugins habt ihr wirklich installiert?

Ach ja, wem es zu mühselig ist seine Plugins aufzulisten, für den hab ich da direkt etwas im Angebot. Ein kleines Plugin – wie sollte es auch anders sein – was das für euch übernimmt. Name: WP List PlugIns.

Ähm, was soll ich da kommentieren, ich kenne das Zeug nicht mal und ich glaube nicht, dass das etwas ist, was ich kaufen würde.
Dann schreib genau das. Die wollen ne Marktforschung und die wollen ehrliche Antworten. Da kann übrigens jeder mitmachen, es gibt immer ne Menge Kram geschenkt ;)

Ich musste das Plugin zum Auflisten noch mal kurz überarbeiten.
Einige Pluginentwickler sind irgendwie der Meinung, sie müssen die Links zu den Optiosseiten des Plugins in die Beschreibung mit rein setzen. Diese wurden bisher also auch hier verlinkt. Ok, sie führten zu 404-Seiten, also ins Nirvana. Diese werden nun nicht mehr verlinkt, muss ja nicht sein so was.
Ich bitte vielmals um Verständnis und bitte darum, das Plugin zu aktualisieren, damit dies bei euch auch nicht mehr verlinkt wird.

Hab das Plugin aktualisiert, aber es verlinkt immer noch. Bei mir ist das aber nicht so tragisch, weil bei meinem wenigen Plugs die Links gehen.

Die Links wurden nur aus der Beschreibung des Plugis entfernt. Der Autor und der Pluginname werden weiterhin verlinkt, was ja auch so soll.

Bin zufällig hierher gekommen und sehe mit Interesse, was andere so “Backstage” haben. Bei dir sind das ja ne Menge und ich dachte schon, dass ich mich mit viel zuviel Plugins lahmlege. Die Dinger sind aber auch zu verführerisch… Werde meine jetzt mal listen und Euch zum beäugen offenbaren…
Sag mal, gibt es eigentlich auch so “Ein-Klick-Backups” mit dem ich in der Lage bin ein Backup zu erstellen das auch wirlkich das komplette Blog sichert ?
Also nicht NUR DB oder NUR Web und Design, sondern halt mal komplett ?
Ein solches Plugin such ich auch noch, was ich bisher getestet habe war einfach nur Schrott, weil es schlichtweg nicht funktionierte.

Ja, so mach ich das bisher auch alles. Immer schön von Hand. Da ich sowieso aufm Laptop alles gespiegelt habe, quasi als Test- und Entwicklungsumgebung, bleibt das ja nicht aus.
Hab bei Micha gesehen, dass Du Dein Plugin wieder aktualisiert hast, dass es inaktive Plugs durchsteicht. Find ich klasse, werd ich auch gleich aktualisieren.
Da ich bei meinem Provider ein konsequentes Speicherproblem habe, ist die Liste meiner Plugins sehr überschaubar. Bin ja richtig neidisch – über 64 Plugs!…Ich vermute mal, dass du täglich irgendwelche updates fahren sollst – gut, dass du noch zeit zum bloggen hast.. ;-)
3 meiner 17 aktiven Plugins sind für Buddypress und den chat. Die anderen dienen der Sicherheit wie Login Lockdown und 2 Captcha Plugs. Die anderen sind wp-print, wp-to-top,Nextgen Gallery, Piwik analytics, Dynamic Widgets, klar – der TinyMCE Advanced, YARPP, WP-cumulus, und WP-forecast ..

Nein, keine täglichen Updates.
Ich geb zu, die Liste bei mir ist etwas größer, weil ich recht viel teste und rumexperientiere mit den Dingern und so kann es sein, dass nach einiger Zeit das eine oder andere Plugin einfach wieder rausfliegt und sich so die Liste wieder verkürzt.

Das Cute Profiles bei Dir hier verdeckt ein wenig den Text, ist das nur bei mir so? (Mac, Safari)
Auf meiner Seite sind die Icons ganz außen bei Dir am Rand des Textfeldes, ist das so beabsichtigt?

Bei mir (Firefox 3,5 und IE 8) verdecken sie den Text nicht. In anderen Blogs, kann ich auch oft keinen Text mehr sehen, da lese ich schon gar nicht mehr. Hier sind die doch sehr dezent.
Dezent sind die aber ich dachte die sind generell am Bildschirmrand und nicht am Rande des Textfeldes, das hier ist der erste Blog wo mir das aufgefallen ist. Hab gerade mal mit dem FF geschaut, da wird die Seite korrekt dargestellt, da sind die Icons außen am Bildschirmrand.

Das ist ein Fehler in der Webkit-Rendering-Engine die der Safari nutzt.
Das soll eigentlich ganz am Rand sein.
Chrome (Windows) und Chromium (Linux) haben die selben Fehler.
Das wundert mich, dass das nur bei deinem Blog so ist, nutze das Plugin auch, bei mir funktioniert das mit allen Browsern wunderbar.
Ok, das ist jetzt wirklich mal dämlich.
Webkit scheint ein Problem bei der Verarbeitung von komprimierten CSS zu haben. Ich habe es mal mit Chrome und unkomprimiertem CSS versucht, alles schön.
Das ist aber nichts, was man nicht umgehen kann.
Aber dennoch, ein Armutszeugnis für Webkit-Browser, wenn es selbst der IE kann :-)
Au ja, das ist ätzend. Ich hab das schon bei Vielen gesehen, gefällt mir gar nicht.
